Standard Policies
SALES TERMS “SERVICE” IMPLIES LABOR THAT MAY BE CONDUCTED ON CUSTOMERS MACHINES. “MACHINES” IMPLY COMPUTER RELATED SYSTEMS. “YOU” or “YOUR” or “CLIENT” IMPLIES THE “CUSTOMER”. “WE” or “US” or “OUR” IMPLIES “TRU-TEK COMPUTERS™” THE COMPANY.

POLICY Service Warranty What is covered? - TRU-TEK Computers™ sole responsibility with respect to this warranty will be to correct any such defect in the product and/or service and to repair or replace the part(s) in question. Warranty implied herein is valid for 90 days from service date unless otherwise noted by the product manufacture or our supplier. Customer must provide original purchase receipt for any service work to be completed in conjunction to this warranty. In the event of non-warranty service requested (“labor”) by ANY customer in relation to the SERVICE WARRANTY and “labor” is deemed not SERVICE WARRANTY related, the standard service fee will be applied and required at time of service. Service work “labor” completed by us with customer provided product(s) is covered by this service warranty only, not the product(s). What is not covered? - Warranty void if result from the following: liquid spilled on or in unit, drops, falls, and other collisions, electrical surge, damaged or broken due to a drop or fall, accidental breakage (multiple pieces). We reserve the right to reject any order you place with us,
and/or or to limit quantities on any order, without giving any
reason. If we reject your order, we will generally attempt to notify
you using the e-mail address you gave us when you placed the order.
$30 charge for check returned for insufficient funds. Finance charge
of 2% per month for outstanding balances past 40 days. Compatibility TRU-TEK Computers™ will not guarantee the compatibility of any components unless installed by our technician(s). For further information or questions beyond our services, please check with the manufacturer. TRU-TEK Computers™ in some cases can not guarantee compatibility. Sales Tax Policy Because TRU-TEK Computers™ does business throughout Tucson including surrounding areas we collect and remit sales tax as required by law, the TRU-TEK Computers™ web site also collects and remits sales tax as appropriate. If you have tax-exempt status, please call (520)-270-7033. You will be required to provide your state tax-exempt certification prior to purchase.

Computers™ reserves the right not to sell to resellers. The customer will pay for return shipping. We realize that it is not your fault if a product is defective, but please understand it is not our fault if a product is defective -- we ship what our distributors & manufacturers provide us with. This is why we share the shipping costs associated with a return replacement. The customer will pay for return shipping, and we will pay to ship the replacement. We cannot offer our everyday low prices and absorb the full cost of handling return shipments. Delivery / Pickup Policy Any special orders on parts and payments from ANY customer will be forfeited 90 days past customer notification. Any item checked in for Technical Service that remains unclaimed 90 days past customer notification becomes the property of TRU-TEK Computers™ unless prior exception has been made.
Parts Warranty Warranty Procedures - Configured Systems Systems built by TRU-TEK are usually 1year. Ask to verify. Chipco’s standard policy on systems configured by Chipco is a one-year swap on parts. Chipco will replace defective parts for one year with the same item if available, or with a similar item if a direct model replacement is unavailable, at our discretion. Optional parts and labor warranties may be available. Please ask for more details. This does not cover abuse by the end-user. Vendor must be currently carried by Chipco. The following is not covered: · The serial number of Product has been modified, removed, or does not match that given on the original invoice. · Damage or malfunction is a result of, but not limited to, accident, misuse, power surge, fire, water, or other acts of nature, product modification, or failure to follow instructions supplied with Product. · The alleged condition is a result of, but not limited to, neglect, unauthorized or improper alterations, repairs, improper care, accidents, disaster, weather, or transportation. Ink & Toner Product Guarantee Our supplier of Premium ink & toner was founded with a total commitment to quality. They have established rigorous, incoming quality control testing procedures to verify the quality of their products before shipping them to us as a dealer. They have invested thousands of dollars in printers and test equipment in order to ensure the quality of their products. All products are Q.C. tested at their plant and then re-tested by batches at their U.S. warehouse before we ship to you. When you purchase premium ink & toner products from TRU-TEK Computers™, you can be confident that you will receive brand new quality products (unless noted otherwise). Since we have such a strong commitment to offering only the highest quality products, we are able to stand behind our Product Guarantee: All Premium ink & toner products purchased from TRU-TEK Computers™ are 100% unconditionally guaranteed to perform equal to the OEM. If you are not satisfied with the performance of the products you purchased do to manufacturer defects for up to 6 months from date of our suppliers invoice you may select a replacement or credit (if supplies available) of the purchase price. Read more about the Ink & Toner Return Policy. We will from time to time offer ink & toner lifespan tips to help better your experience with the products we sell. Any claim for shortages or price discrepancies must be reported with in 10 days of TRU-TEK Computer™ supplier’s invoice date. Product will be shipped directly to your billing location or delivered by a TRU-TEK Computers™ representative. Ink & Toner Guarantee is subject to return policies. Return Policy All sales made through TRU-TEK Computers™ and the TRU-TEKcomputers.com web site is subject to the return policy. All sales are final and all returns are subject to decision of TRU-TEK Computers™. Shipping charges are not refundable. Most products must be returned to the manufacturer. No returns past 30 days from the date of the original invoice. All which require an RMA number to be assigned to you. At the current time there are NO cash or credit card refunds. All refunds will be issued by company check. Ink & Toner Return Policy · All non defective product returns are subject to approval by TRU-TEK Computers™ and must be sent back in re-saleable condition; no markings or stickers. RMA# only valid 30 day after issue date. · All returns are subject to shipping charges prior to acceptance of return. · All defective products must be proven defective by TRU-TEK Computers™. · Freight will be credited for mistakes made by TRU-TEK Computers™. · All other brand of ink & toner products other than Premium may have other restrictions. Ask for more details. Non-Returnable Items Due to manufacturer's policies, TRU-TEK Computers™ can not accept refunds or returns on All Software, Retail Boxed Processors, some notebooks, Camcorders, Blank Media and Blank Cartridges, some Printer Cartridges, Notebook Batteries, Minolta, QMS, Cisco, IBM, Sony, Intel, Tektronix, NEC, and Hewlett Packard products. Defective merchandise can be returned to the manufacturer directly. Service Terms and Conditions subject to change without notice.
